Say no to illegal drugs!
The unprecedented increase of illegal drugs in show animals has done tremendous damage to not only the integrity of this fine industry and harmed the animals themselves, but also promoted the view to our youthful competitors that hard work and integrity are no longer enough to compete--that you have to cheat because other people are.

It's become an epidemic, and you can take your stand today by calling 866.469.9227 and saying NO to drugs.

Illegal drugs such as the off-label Zilmax, clenbuterol, and depo medrol, may be the quickest way to victory, but if you are a true competitor, then you know that the best way to beat cheaters at their own game is to outperform them.

LEGAL LAMB is the answer to the challenge and I invite you to call me personally to find out more: 866-469-9227

Mary Burger / "Rare" Fred

Winning championships at futurities, AQHA World Chapionship shows, and the Congress is nothing new to this young woman. Because in 1974 she won both World Champion in Junior barrels and poles, as well as winning both events the same year at the Congress. Every year since she has trained World Champion qualifiers and winners as well as several honor roll horses in barrels and poles. In 1984, she was reserve Champion on 'Showum the Gold' at the largest barrel futurity in the nation, 'Old Fort Days', Fort Smith, Arkansas. That year she won over $41,000 on this horse alone. That year she went back to Fort Smith with 'Showum the Gold' and won the Derby. Mary Burger won the 2006 NFR, and Rare Fred was named AQHA Horse of the Year.

This year's AQHA/WPRA Barrel Horse of the Year is Rare Fred "Fred", owned by Ronald Martin and ridden by Mary Burger. This is the second such award for Fred, who also captured the title in 2006, the same year he carried Burger to her first world title. In 2009, the duo won $58,000 at the prestigious RodeoHouston in March. [Read more]
