My 13-year-old mare has had gastric problems since 2005 when I purchased her. I had her scoped and she was found to have gastritis. I have tried several products on her to calm her bouts of gastritis that seemed to appear as colic. She would paw, lay down and not eat. I have taken many trips to the vet and gone through many bottles of banamine. I dont leave home without it. In October 2009, we made three trips to the vet in two weeks time period. Each time they would treat her for colic, putting oil into her stomach and psyllium. At the World Barrel Racing Finals in November of 2009, I was given a month's supply of Oxy-gen Extreme GI care. To this date, I have not had to take Jewel back to the vet and she comes running across the pasture every morning for her feeding!! Im am a true believer in this product!
